BBMak Back In Boston
BBMAK returned to Boston and delivered a fully excellent show! The setlist was a combination of their albums, “Sooner or Later”, “Into Your Head”, and “Powerstation”. Just a fantastic night of great music!
O-Town - Lines & Circles 10th Anniversary Show
In 2024, O-Town commemorated a significant milestone of their career, the 10th anniversary of their Lines & Circles Album. This album reunited the band as a four piece group. The Boston show was a celebration of that album and the band.
New Kids On The Block - 2024 Magic Summer Tour
NKOTB's 2024 Magic Summer Tour was a celebration for both the New Kids and the Blockheads. No shortage of confetti. Their setlist was a combination of their mega hits and songs from their latest album, "Still Kids". My feet were tired after dancing for two nights!
Usher - Past, Present and Future Tour
Usher’s “Past, Present and Future” Tour is my first Usher concert. Despite buying the ticket last minute, I still got a great seat. The show was a celebration of Usher's 30 year long career. It was 2 hours of non-stop action. Usher did not disappoint! He still got that smooth swagger. I loved every minute of it.
Pop2000 at Cape Cod
The Sunday after we saw Justin Timberlake , my friends and I headed down to Cape Cod to see his NSYNC bandmate, Chris Kirkpatrick with O-Town, LFO, BBMAK and Ryan Cabrera on the 2024 Pop2000 tour. Pop2000 is one of my absolute must-see concerts. You get multiple artists in one show celebrating the MTV/TRL Days. The ticket is a great deal and you are definitely guaranteed a fun time!
Justin Timberlake - Forget Tomorrow World Tour
After a long hiatus, Justin Timberlake finally returned to the concert tour stage, embarking on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. The tour follows the release of his latest album, Everything I Thought I Was. The Forget Tomorrow World Tour made a stop in Boston for two sold out nights. The 2024 Tour is actually my first Justin Timberlake solo concert. The last time I saw Justin live was the No Strings Attached tour in 2000. I know. A long time ago! And I will say Justin delivered a high scale two-hour action packed production!
Niall Horan - The Show Live On Tour
This past month, I went to my first Niall Horan concert and my 2nd solo Directioner show. The night was filled with great music. The acoustics and sound was excellent despite the outdoor setting and screaming fans. Niall proved he truly stood out as a talented solo artist with his vocal ability and playing various instruments.
Joey Fatone & AJ McLean’s Legendary Night
In January 2024, NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Backstreet Boy’s AJ McLean announced they will embark on a tour together across America, entitled “Joey Fatone & AJ McLean - A Legendary Night”. Originally, the tour only included nine shows on the East Coast and West Coast. As a result of the high demand, the tour unsurprisingly almost sold out within a week of ticket sales. They ended up adding more dates and shows. My friend and I were lucky enough to score VIP tickets to the sold out Boston show.
Westlife’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
After 25 years, Westlife, the popular Irish boyband, made my wildest dreams come true. The group announced they would finally come to North America as part of their Wild Dreams World Tour. Stops included Boston and NYC! As a devoted Westlife fan, I was ecstatic!
S Club - Good Times Tour
After more than 20 years, S Club finally embarked on their first North American tour. I grew up on S Club - watching their TV shows, music videos, and listening to their music. I was absolutely ecstatic when S Club announced their tour dates included a Boston show.
Age of Madness
Jeremy Jordan and his band Age of Madness played a sold out show in Boston’s City Winery earlier this month. I was ecstatic to see Jeremy perform live as I loved seeing him on Supergirl, Smash and Newsies. Age of Madness played an unplugged set with no back up music band.
The LFO Story
The LFO story is a special concert where the group’s sole surviving member, Brad Fischetti honors and celebrates the lives of his late bandmates, Brian Gillis, Rich Cronin and Devin Lima. Normally, I see LFO as part of the Pop2000 lineup with O-Town, Chris Kirkpatrick and Ryan Carbera. This was my first full LFO solo show.
Pop2000 in Paradise
Pop2000 in Paradise was my first trip to Mexico. This trip, organized by Vacation Jams, was definitely the 2023 MTV Spring break for grown adults in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The multi-day event featured O-Town, NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick, Billy Gilman, LFO, Ryan Cabrera, David Cook, Carl Wockner and comedian Marcus Monroe.
A Boy Band Christmas - An Evening of Holiday & Hits
With the holidays approaching, I can’t help but reminisce about the amazing two days of the Boy Band Christmas concert last year. The Boy Band Christmas concert was a 12 US City Tour with an all-star line-up - Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons, and Drew Lachey of 98 Degrees, Jamie Jones of All-4-One, Erik-Michael Estrada of O-Town, and Ryan Cabrera.
98 Degrees - Eat The Beat Concert
Disney World and 98 Degrees is the perfect vacation combination. Going to 98 Degrees was a great excuse to travel on my first solo trip to Disney World. A magical adventure!
Joey McIntyre at Cape Cod
Last August, Joey McIntyre returned to his home state of Massachusetts to Hyannis, Cape Cod. Hyannis was the last stop of Joey’s Solo Joe Summer Tour on the mainland USA leg before he headed off to Hawaii. Since NKOTB announced they were not touring this year and only performing a small number of shows, I wanted to catch Joey’s live solo show.
Louis Tomlinson - Faith In The Future
Faith In The Future is my first Louis Tomlinson concert. After watching Louis’s “All Of The Voices” documentary, I became a bigger Louis fan. I knew I had to check out his concert whenever he came into town.
The Pop2000 Tour Storms Into New Hampshire
The final New England leg of the Pop2000 Tour landed in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Despite the downpour and being soaking wet, O-Town, BBMAK, Ryan Cabrera, LFO and Chris Kirkpatrick delivered an awesome show!
The Pop2000 Tour’s Magical Ride Continues!
After Portland, I journeyed on to my next Pop200o Tour site in the most unique location, a campground in Massachusetts! So much 2000s nostalgia with BBMAK, Ryan Cabrera, LFO, O-Town and Chris Kirkpatrick1
The Pop2000 Tour Pops into Portland
Summertime means the Pop2000 Tour is in full force! The last time I was at the Pop2000 Tour was September 2022 in Stamford, CT. What made the 2023 tour extra special was BBMAK being added to the lineup. I haven't seen BBMAK since 2018. I was going to see them in 2020 before the pandemic shut everything down. In addition to BBMAK, the tour includes O-Town, LFO, and Ryan Cabrera. Chris Kirkpatrick from NSYNC returns as host.
Interview with Phil Firetog
On November 8th, Firetog Trio and Company released their latest single, “What You’re Good For”. Prior to the single release, I had the opportunity to chat with Phil about his latest project and other music-related matters.
