LFO - Life Is Good Tour
After a year, LFO and Brad Fischetti returned to City Winery in Boston. Boston is the last stop of LFO’s “Life is Good Tour”. LFO previously performed here on the “Honor The Boys” tour in 2025. For this tour, Brad invited back Trevor Penick of O-Town to join him. The concert was filled with great music, brotherhood camaraderie, and fangirls enjoying a night out.
The main goal of the show is to celebrate the legacy of LFO. Prior to the lights going down, the DayOnes VIP wanted to surprise Brad and have fans show their appreciation for LFO. Brad is known for his signature black bandana worn around his head. So the DaysOne VIP distributed black bandanas for everyone in the audience to wear. Even the band on the stage and the restaurant servers! I loved seeing Brad’s surprise look on his face when he came out and seeing everyone wearing black bandanas. He was gobsmacked.
The Venue
City Winery has become a popular spot for artists to perform in, mainly because of the intimate close setting and the building’s excellent acoustics. Previously, I’ve seen TC Carson, BBMAK and O-Town. However, City Winery is not the best venue for moving and dancing because the venue is also a restaurant with tables and chairs. So you spend a majority of the time sitting and watching the artist perform onstage. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Trevor and Brad from encouraging the crowd to get on their feet during the show.
Trevor Penick
The night kicked off with Trevor’s solo act. This is my second time I saw Trevor as a solo artist outside of O-Town. He wore a denim jacket, ripped jeans and a cowboy hat. Trevor started with some spoken word poetry, basically introducing himself as a solo artist. He later sang his renditions of Mary J. Blige’s “Real Love”, OutKast’s “Sorry Ms. Jackson” and Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places”.
Trevor definitely proved to be a great storyteller, songwriter and rapper. Aside from covers, Trevor sang his original songs including “That’s Cliff”, a song he wrote dedicated to his father. He also sang his first solo single “Sin City” and closed the show with his latest song “Follow Your Dreams”. “Follow Your Dreams” describes Trevor’s journey in entertainment and still pursuing the dreams despite being in O-Town. Moreover Trevor is more confident, showing off some swagger. Especially when he invited a fan up onstage to serenade her with Keith Sweat’s “Nobody” and started dancing very raunchily.
LFO with Brad Fischetti
About 10 minutes before 9 pm, LFO’s Rich Cronin and Devin Lima’s sneakers are placed onstage to ensure their spirits are present. Joined by his band of church choir directors, Brad ignites the main show with LFO’s “Baby Be Mine”. For this concert, Brad carefully curated a setlist of songs that chronicles the journey of LFO. He later performs a 70s medley since Rich, Devin and him were born in that decade. He also sang “La Bamba”, the first song LFO performed together as a group.
Brad then invited Trevor and Joel, the tour manager onstage and they performed a collection of LFO songs including: “Life Is Good”, “Westside Story”, “Can’t Have You”, “Alayna”, “Every Other Time” and “6 Minutes”. They also sang “Girl On TV”, a song close to my heart.
I got really excited when Trevor and Brad sang “Thinkin’ About You”. One of my favorite deepcuts from the LFO catalogue. The song has a smooth soothing melody with Devin’s tender voice in the background. A very boyband ballad. I wished they also sang “I Don’t Wanna Kiss You Goodnight”.
Honoring Rich and Devin
While the show was a celebration of LFO, Brad makes a point that the story of LFO is also a sad story. He acknowledges the tragic deaths of Rich and Devin and also Brian Gillis who passed in 2023. Rich lost his battle to Leukemia in 2010. Devin lost his battle to Adrenal cancer in 2018. Brad talked about how their passing really affected him and sent him to a dark and sad place. Until he found faith and prayer and his wife, the O-Town boys and Jeff Timmons encouraged him to carry on the LFO story. During this portion of the show, Brad sang “Perfect 10”, “Ode to Harold”, and “How He Loves”. Brad showed incredible vulnerability and rawness. He is clearly still grieving his friends’ passing. At times, he had to pause the show to take a breath. I truly admire his strength and bravery to continue on.
LFO fittingly closed the show with an encore of “Baby Be Mine” and their first single, “Summer Girls”, exciting the crowd to get on their feet and start dancing and sing along.
